Kesha Pabari

I joined OGR Stock Denton as a Paralegal in 2016 working in the Litigation and Property team. Whilst working in the Property Team, I liaised with a wide variety of clients, assisting with post-completion matters including Stamp Duty returns and Land Registry applications. For my experience working in the Litigation team, I assisted with various administrative duties and worked on numerous personal injury and negligence cases.

I was offered a training contract by the firm which I started in 2017. My first seat was in the Private Client team, where I assisted with drafting Wills, dealt with LPA and Court of Protection applications and assisted with other complex matters involving specialist IHT advice.

My second seat was in the Litigation team, where I gained experience dealing with contentious probate matters. I have experience representing both the claimant and defendant. I was involved from the very beginning of matters and conducted tasks such as drafting Larke-v-Nugus style letters to investigate assets in the estate all the way through to advising clients at mediation (where appropriate). I also dealt with personal injury claims. For smaller claims (up to £25k) I would enter the claim and manage it via the personal injury portal and for large claims (over £25k) I would assist with all steps of the litigation procedure. I also had exposure to landlord and tenant claims, specifically under s.25 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.

Currently I am working in the family department where I am assisting with all aspects of private family work including pre-nuptial agreements to financial proceedings on divorce. I have also got experience acting for the applicant in child abduction matters.
