I specialise in dealing with Wills, estate planning and estate and trust administration.
I also work closely alongside colleagues in the department to further develop the firm’s expertise in Court of Protection and mental capacity work, an area which is coming to increasing prominence as people live longer and cases of conditions such as dementia increase.
I also have extensive experience advising clients on tax planning, helping individuals to understand all the options available for limiting their liabilities for Inheritance Tax (IHT) and other levies.
Irrespective of the work I have been asked to undertake, I aim to understand the clients’ objectives and ensure that advice is tailored to their individual circumstances.
I also put great emphasis on providing added value by taking a proactive approach. For instance, when a client approaches me to make a Will, I will offer relevant advice on tax reliefs that may be available that the client may not be aware of.
I studied Law at UCL and previously worked at a firm in Edgware. I joined OGR Stock Denton’s Private Client team in January 2014.
- Advised on a £15million estate administration/statutory Wills case (a Will which is authorised by the court as the individual lacks capacity).
“We were the joint executors for our mother's sizeable and fairly complex estate. Senior Associate Geoff Dennis at OGR handled every aspect of this task with great courtesy, sensitivity, efficiency and attention to detail.”
“During a difficult family legal matter in 2014, Geoff helped me identify the best solution to the situation in a sensitive and timely way. He was very professional and understanding, and I felt supported and expertly guided throughout the discussions. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Geoff.”

In my spare time (when I have some!), I enjoy spending time with my young family, going to the gym and watching Arsenal. I also have an interest in Jewish Law studies.
