I am a commercial lawyer who solves problems for business clients. Whether working for start-ups or quoted businesses, my collegiate approach in structuring deals or resolving disputes before they become too contentious, drives more successful outcomes. Common sense and many years of experience has resulted in being retained as a long-term advisor to a wide portfolio of clients.

One particular area of specialism is advising clients on alternative Investments including real estate fractional ownership, the art market or in the classic car sector, both in the UK and overseas.

For many years I have also handled press and media issues for my clients and am regularly requested to provide commentary for the BBC, Sky TV and National Press on legal issues.

I am a Freeman of the City of London, having spent most of my academic time and professional career in or close to the Square Mile.

In 1981 I became the founding partner of the City Law Firm Silverman Sherliker. The firms’ focus, vision and commercial approach was central to the firm growing, to become a well respected mid-size city practice.

My ethos is to add value to my client’s business and therefore take the time to go to meet them, to get a better understanding of the issue(s) at hand.
