OGR Stock Denton are pleased to announce that Graeme Fraser, Partner and Head of Family, has been elected by his peers to join Resolution’s National Committee, together with 7 other family professionals.
Resolution is a community of family professionals whose aim is to help reduce conflict and provide support separating families and their children. It was first formed in 1982 by a group of family lawyers to help create more amicable solutions to the various family law issues, and provide support for separating families in the UK. The group’s success is primarily due to the collaborative approach of its National Committee members, who work together to bring forward change, through its strategic and forward thinking.
What is Resolution?
Resolution members include professionals from all different backgrounds, not just solicitors and barristers but also financial planners and family mediators. By having family professionals working together under one umbrella, they are able to work together to provide solutions for separating families that need professional support.
Graeme Fraser commented: “Having been a member of Resolution for many years, I am delighted to have been elected to sit on the National Committee with the other newly appointed members.
The National Committee is committed to improving family law reform and providing better solutions for families going through separation and divorce.
I look forward to using my experience and work with the other committee members to help shape the future of Resolution’s policies and strategic thinking going forward.”
The National Committee currently has 21 members and are elected by other Resolution members, with elections taking place annually.
