We encounter a ‘sticky wicket’ as we take on Gerald Edelman on the cricket pitch

The ‘OGR Legends’ team, made up of Michael Stock, team members from OGR, as well as contacts from Vintage Wealth, Jeremy Leaf & Co, Dutch and Dutch and Selbourne Chambers, took on a team from accountancy firm, Gerald Edelman, at the Walker Cricket Ground in Southgate on Thursday 23 August.

Sadly, batting second, we were unable to match Gerald Edelman’s tally of 173-3, falling 14 runs short of victory with 159-3.

Fortunately, this was quickly forgotten as the teams gathered for food and drinks after the match, where they heard from Michael Stock and Howard Wallis.

Michael Stock said: “Sadly we encountered a bit of a ‘sticky wicket’ at Southgate, but nevertheless this event was a great success.
